I painted the L-shaped house featured in Post 204. This building was designed to sit on its own in a corner of the Essling village terrain tile with its front to the main street and its side to the road or track that led to Long Garden. I realised that when choosing a colour to paint the walls of my Essling buildings I was tending to reach for my favourite brown colour. I deliberately painted this building’s walls grey, just to be different.

With this building finished, I now had all the models made and painted for the church side, the south side, of Eßlinger Hauptstraße, Essling’s main street.
