206 : House & Shed

I painted the building with the simple pantile roof and the shed for the backyard that featured in Post 204. Again, I applied some modelling-paste texture with a cocktail stick first before painting.

I was becoming quite a fan of the look of laser-cut greyboard (the recycled cardboard I used for laser-cutting that had a raw, unfinished appearance) – especially for wood planking. It almost seemed a shame to paint the shed’s planked walls. The burn of the laser-cut also gave the greyboard a pretty passable stone look, as well, that sometimes only required a little dry-brushing.
